Every year for grade 2 Mrs Foster puts on a big Medieval Celebration to celebrate all the dragons that the children have slayed over the year. Every child had different kinds of dragons that they wanted to conquer, whether it was paying attention in class, reading better or just being a better student all around.
Ethan was dubbed Sir Knight of Superb Reading!!!!
The kids were given stars for reading and when they reached 100 stars they got to go outside with the class and launch a real rocket into the sky. Ethan was awarded with 300 stars for all the different reading he did throughout the year, so he was able to launch 3 different rockets.
He was the only one to ever reach that many stars in that classroom throughout the years that Mrs Foster taught Gr2. As you can imagine we were very proud Ethan, he really does love to read and most days I will find him in his room reading a book!
