Because we will not be spending Christmas with my family this year, Shea, Riley and Olive came out for a visit from Calgary.  I thought what a perfect time to get a family photo, we have someone here that can take a picture of the 6 of us.  So i plan this walk to Shannon Lake Park and fill the kids in that we are gonna take some pics......bad idea!  Never tell your kids your going to take pics, they do much better when its "unplanned".  Well thats how it works at our house.

So we get down to the park and i remember... oh crap, i didn't pack snacks and its close to snack time, i know we are going to loose a couple kids focus because they don't do well on hungry tummies. But i did make hot chocolate so maybe that will do. Oh and now the weather is turning on us, its gonna snow or rain or maybe both. So i start trying to get everyone organized, im getting some attitude from a few. I wont mention names!  We only got a few pictures, the typical "lets all stand together picture" and no fun ones before we had tears and mad faces:(  I have to give my bro and sis in law a big thank you for putting up with us, we weren't the easiest people to deal with!
