We moved to West Kelowna in May of 2008, our house was brand new so there was no landscaping done. The back yard was the biggest challange, the yard was sloped on the one side and it was filled with rocks. So I spent many days just picking rocks, than picking weeds so that we could lay sod. Here are some photo's of what it looked like when we moved in.

| we had to build a ramp to get the bob cat into the back yard. Ben was only 2 but very eager to help. |

| 2nd summer here still working on the yard |
| We planted all these cedars along the back fence |
| We had to build a gate and fence so the dog wouldn't get out and this was our 1st crack at the pathway up the side of the house.....ugly |
| We decided to go right to the rock quarry and pick all these stones to make a stairway, we had them delivered but we had to install them ourselves to save $5000 |
| it was like a giant puzzle |
Fast forward to 2012 and this is where we are at.....
| we have a creek that runs along side our property and its just on the other side of the fence behind the fire pit. It usually runs from Nov-July depending on how much rain we get. This year it ran extra long because of the rainy spring we had. |
