March 12th, 2011 Ethans 8th Birthday!

Our last birthday to celebrate for 2011, oh wait we will have one more special one in May for the new babe!

Ethan is 8, holy man!!!!!  Our 1st born is growing up so fast!

We had a few of their friends and the cousins over for pizza, games and a movie. Everyone had to come in their pj's, after supper we played a few games for prizes and then we all went downstairs and watched MegaMind and then everybody went home.

Ethan requested chocolate cake with whip cream topping and strawberries.

Imagine we are all singing to him (have it on video but haven't loaded it yet)

Now we do it again for both of them, since they are having a combo party.

Opening their cards, they got lots of cash!  They love having some bills to put in their piggy bank.

All settled in , they all have their own glow sticks which were a huge hit!

 I always have such a hard time putting together goody bags that aren't just filled with junk that gets thrown in the garbage, so this time we did a brown lunch bag filled with a mini box of cereal, an easy peel orange, a yogurt tube and a juice box.  This way our party was like an "almost sleepover party" they could all go home and have their breakfast ready and waiting and no need to wake up their parents in the morning.
