Queen of this Castle: Benny's 6th Birthday

My Benny is 6 years old now, he is growing up so quickly just like the rest of them.

Here are some things about Ben @ 6 years old!

His favorite food is pizza
His favorite tv show is garfield
He loves to play board games and LOVES UNO!
He plays really good with Sam or Ethan
He's a bit of a social butterfly
Still loves to cuddle with us
when Ben grows up he wants to sell ice cream and make toys
he has the biggest heart ever!!!!

Jason and I always joke that Ben is just like Buddy the ELF from the movie. He is always smiling, always wants to play and have fun, and loves to hug! On Ben's latest progress report he was exceeding in his social responsibility his teacher says that he is friendly, kind, very helpful and a wonderful class citizen!

So as you know Ben had an Angry Bird party, he loved it and so did his friends. They were so excited for the birthday and they all brought there own angry bird stuffies to the party.

Ben helped me alot with the decorating, he helped paint the little angry birds we made out of styrofoam balls, google eyes, pieces of felt and feathers. He painted all the placemats which were just scrapbook paper traced into a circle shape. Ben also picked which bird would go to each of his friends according to who owned that color of angry bird already. Ben cut all the streamers for the streamer chandelier. The little bottles that they drank from are from Walmart, they are in the pop section and I believe they are called chubbies. We just printed off little name tags and taped them right over the original labels. The goody bags had some slime that we made, recipe on pinterest, chocolates, and a whoopie cushion. Boys love whoopie cushions for obvious reasons. The balloons were a huge hit too, we just downloaded the angry bird templates off the internet, cut them out and taped them on the balloons. Each kid went home with their angry bird balloon as well as their styrofoam birds that we made. In the end they all wanted the black bird for some reason so there was a little bit of trading going on. We only played one game and that was pin the beak on the angry bird, we printed off an extra face for the balloon templates and just taped it on a piece of red paper that we had made into a circle shape. The rest of the time they just played with their stuffies. Nana, Papa and Aunty Lindsay all came for cake so it was nice to just have 1 party instead of one for the kids and another with all the family. My pics were taken with my phone very last minute as the guests were arriving so not the best but you get the picture..heehee.
